Édition Blanche — Inspired by the foundation of Carte Blanche, the client translates its design ethos into their private residence, enriched with personal nuances.
A thoughtful reinterpretation of the original, this residence echoes its signature wall details and accent pieces while expressing a distinct personal voice. Within the curated structure, the client introduced wainscoting, custom carpentry, and ambient lighting — subtle gestures that reflect their preferences. Select furniture choices further individualize the space, blending personal comfort with considered design.
Equally, this balance between framework and freedom defines the spirit of the home. While the design language remains consistent, it’s the quiet deviations — a sofa chosen for comfort, a lamp selected for mood — that imbue the space with intimacy and authenticity.
At the same time, the neutral palette, layered with soft whites and muted textures, enhances the sense of calm and sophistication. Consequently, the residence becomes a refined reflection of modern interior design in Kuala Lumpur, seamlessly merging professional vision with personal identity.
